Biography
Since a very young age, art has been at the center of my life. I used to go everywhere with a paintbook and some color pencils—just in case inspiration struck. I’ve always loved creating, imagining, and painting. For me, art isn’t just something I do; it’s in my blood. Growing up in an Italian family, we spent our time around the table, cooking, talking, and making things together. We love to use our hands. My aunt is a painter who works magic with her brushes and spatula, and my cousins are also involved in art. My mom? Super handy too.
When people ask what I did as a child, the answer is simple: I painted. Any surface or material I could find—including some forbidden walls that I had to clean later! I also took oil painting courses, learned to sew, and even explored cooking. As a teenager, I wasn’t sure what path to take, because being an artist wasn’t exactly the “bright future” option at school. For years, I thought I would become an architect, but life had other plans. I ended up studying Business & Management in Brazil.
After university, I moved to Italy to reconnect with my grandfather’s family, discover my roots, and learn the language. It was in Europe that I realized how much I had let my artist side fade into the background. I missed it deeply.
Now, eight years later, I’m ready to let art take the lead in my life and heart. I can’t avoid it any longer, and I don’t want to. I’m excited and more ready than ever to begin this new creative adventure.
